My Quality World: When I think of the words “successful life” so things that come into my head are, I think of many things, but I think some things that really stick out to me is: Happiness; Not having to stress over money, always have a enough to pay the bills and take care of my family and a little of fun spending. So I see it as if you and your family are happy you have brought yourself up to a good and successful life. I look up to a few because they have not let me down. One thing in them is they stand up for what they believe and don’t care what/how people see them. People I look up to are those who will not tear me down of my dreams, but more like run along with me while there going after their dreams also. People I also look up to are those who also have that strength to stand up and not give up and keep fighting. And I love those who can laugh through the tough pain, those who can cheer you up, or even just make you smirk, those are all the kids of people I want to surround myself around. I can trust them and I know they will help and be there getting to my dreams.
My favorite Essay I wrote in English this year: Thirty-Eight Who Saw Murder and Saved a Woman’s Life They all heard her screaming, hollering, and crying out help for her life. All the lights went on in almost every apartment. Thirty-eight trustworthy, look-out-for-each-other citizens looked out their windows to only discover a girl on the floor, bleeding tremendously, in North Euless Apartments parking lot A. Every man in those apartments and some wives came out to see what was going on, to only notice the woman on the floor saying “Help Me, Help Me Please.” One guy ran over to her and knew he had to stop the bleeding, so he ripped a part of his shirt off and put pressure where she had been stabbed. Another guy had called the EMT’s, while the women were just trying to keep the dying woman awake. The assailant tried to come back and one of the kids from inside screamed out “He’s trying to come back.” The man, who is in great shape, ran after him and tried to catch him, but didn’t quite get there; He did see the car and the license plate. The cops and ambulance got there in two minutes, just in time because the guys didn’t know how much longer the woman could stay alive. Her eyes kept closing and her heart beat was slowing down and they weren’t quite sure how long she’d last. The ambulance took off the dying woman’s shirt and took matters into their own hands. Then, they rushed her off to the hospital. The cops stayed around and asked the few families who were out there a few questions. They started off telling the cops the lady’s name was Emma Ruth; she’s about twenty-nine; and she’s the manager at a local bar. The neighbors knew her normal routine because it was the same thing every night. Emma came home around 3 or 3:30 because her bar closes at 2. She always comes home alone, never with a guy or girl. The cops said that “if that’s her normal routine, this guy may had been watching her for some time and known her routine. The man had planned when to do this and probably has some reasoning behind it.” The cops suggested this is what happened, The man has, or had been, to this lady’s bar and may have even had talked to her, many times. Emma never really suspected anything because he was like every other drunken guy in her bar: crazy, stupid, and trying to get some company. Tonight he was probably at the bar and slowly watching her, but not talking to her today. The assailant sat outside the bar and followed her home. He then parked on the other side of her apartments in the dark area so he could not be seen. Emma gets out her car and goes to her house like she does normally does every other night, not suspecting anything. The assailant snuck up behind her and stabbed her, but then saw all your lights turn on and got scared. The reason he came back was because he didn’t hear you all come out. The man that we are looking for has a white Chevrolet cavalier, about early 2,000, with the license plate beginning with KPL. We will ask Emma questions when she wakes up, but as of right now that’s what we’re looking for. Thank you to the North Euless Apartment neighborhood for calling as soon as possible and helping her stay alive. About two months later, they found the murderer, Kaven Preston Luster. He had been in and out of prison since he was eighteen, and he is now thirty-eight.
